ÑÇÖÞ²ÊƱ¹ÙÍø Student Receives AAWCC Scholarship to Further Education

Twin Falls, ID – Leah Scrimpsher, a student and employee of the ÑÇÖÞ²ÊƱ¹ÙÍø (ÑÇÖÞ²ÊƱ¹ÙÍø) has been awarded a $500 continuing education scholarship from the American Association for Women in Community Colleges (AAWCC). The scholarship is based on noteworthy academic accomplishments, community involvement and contributions made in support of women’s issues at their respective community colleges.

Scrimpsher, who is also part of the Information Technology Department at ÑÇÖÞ²ÊƱ¹ÙÍø praised both ÑÇÖÞ²ÊƱ¹ÙÍø and AAWCC for the support they have shown. “ It’s such an amazing opportunity to be able to work with AAWCC and ÑÇÖÞ²ÊƱ¹ÙÍø to continue my education and further my career in the ÑÇÖÞ²ÊƱ¹ÙÍø IT department and beyond. I am not a traditional student by any means and without these scholarships I would not be able to continue my education. ÑÇÖÞ²ÊƱ¹ÙÍø has provided the flexibility and resources to make sure I am successful.” Scrimpsher will now pursue a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Operations Management at ÑÇÖÞ²ÊƱ¹ÙÍø.
