What application do I fill out for the ÑÇÖÞ²ÊƱ¹ÙÍø Presidential, Laura Moore Cunningham, New Hope, and other ÑÇÖÞ²ÊƱ¹ÙÍø Foundation scholarships?

The ÑÇÖÞ²ÊƱ¹ÙÍø Scholarship Application available through covers over 200 ÑÇÖÞ²ÊƱ¹ÙÍø Foundation scholarships including the ÑÇÖÞ²ÊƱ¹ÙÍø Presidential, Laura Moore Cunningham Scholarship, and the New Hope scholarship.

ÑÇÖÞ²ÊƱ¹ÙÍø along with the ÑÇÖÞ²ÊƱ¹ÙÍø Foundation awards over $1,000,000 in scholarships annually. These awards recognize students’ achievements in academic, technical, art, music, drama, athletic, and leadership skills.

Do I need to submit a transcript with my scholarship application?

Yes, if you are an incoming freshman or transfer student then transcripts need to be received in the ÑÇÖÞ²ÊƱ¹ÙÍø Admission Office in order to complete your scholarship application. Priority deadline will apply to receipt of transcript, just like the scholarship application. Current ÑÇÖÞ²ÊƱ¹ÙÍø students do NOT need to submit a transcript.

Do I need to provide a separate transcript for each scholarship application?

Each scholarship application will designate the required documents needed to complete the application. Please make sure to read each scholarship application instructions carefully.

What if I miss the Priority Scholarship deadline date of March 1st?

You may still submit your ÑÇÖÞ²ÊƱ¹ÙÍø Scholarship Application after the March 1st deadline for consideration of any open scholarships. Your application will be reviewed for 2nd Round scholarships.

What is Second Round scholarships?

Second Round is the process of awarding scholarship dollars from any previously awarded funds within the current school year that students became ineligible to retain. Second round closes after the 6th week in fall/spring semester or until funding is gone.

Do I need to apply each school year for scholarships?

Yes, beginning in October of each year the ÑÇÖÞ²ÊƱ¹ÙÍø Scholarship Application will be available for the upcoming school year. Each school year is a separate awarding year.

Do I need to fill out the FAFSA for scholarships?
Any scholarship requiring need based information will require that a FAFSA application is filled out. If in doubt, fill it out.
After I fill out the ÑÇÖÞ²ÊƱ¹ÙÍø Scholarship Application and submit it for the priority award date, then what?

After you complete the ÑÇÖÞ²ÊƱ¹ÙÍø Scholarship Application follow the steps below:

  1. Send Transcript to ÑÇÖÞ²ÊƱ¹ÙÍø Admissions Office (Check out Transcript Info to learn more)
  2. Once you receive an email aid offer, review and accept awards in
  3. Register fully and accept offers by August 1st for fall semester or December 15th for spring semester
When and how will I know if I received any scholarship awards?

Scholarship aid offers will be sent to students via email for the upcoming school year. The student will receive an aid offer from the ÑÇÖÞ²ÊƱ¹ÙÍø with guidelines and requirements of the pending award(s).

Students will need to respond within the timeframe to accept or decline scholarships through . August 1st is the deadline for accepting scholarship awards for priority awarding. Students that are not awarded scholarships will receive a regret letter via email.

Priority Applicants will receive notice of awards by May. Second Round applicants will receive notice as availability of funding allows. Students who are not awarded scholarships will receive a scholarship application status letter via email.

What defines a first-generation student?

A first-generation student is any student whose parents have not completed a college degree.

What defines a first-time student?

A first-time student is any degree-seeking freshman student who has never attended any college or university as a degree-seeking student. First-time students may have college-level credit through a high school dual-credit or equivalent program, but may not have directly attended the ÑÇÖÞ²ÊƱ¹ÙÍø, or another college or university, as a degree-seeking student.
